Today i’m in New York City doing something I love — small business consulting. Although I love the big city and a little me time — being away from my family is tough. As a small business owner, you’ve more than likely struggled with the never ending game of trying to find a balance between your work and family life. Life sometimes throws you curve balls and it’s important to know how handle the change up. You know the place…the little bubble we build around ourselves where we function in an anxiety-neutral condition. A condition which allows us to use our regular behaviors, routines, and thoughts. The place where the same routines yield the same results along with a limited sense of risk. This place is our comfort zone. This place is dangerous and the Czar of our comfort zone is FEAR. Listen… I like change about as much as . . .
